The AIX 3270 Host Connection Program (HCON) software provides the ability to emulate a terminal or printer attached to an IBM System/370 host computer over any of the following connections:

DFT non-SNA	(terminal or LU1/LU3 printer)
DFT SNA	(terminal only)
TCP/IP	(terminal only)
SNA	(terminal or LU1/LU3 printer)
